POSTER-MAKING EVENT HELD TO ENGAGE YOUTH TOWARDS RPL CONSERVATION. Ten senior high school students from the province of Bataan staged their creativity and talent in an on-the-spot poster-making contest organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here.

Held on September 28 at Vista Mall Bataan, the competition, themed “Roosevelt Protected Landscape: Kayamanan ng Kinabukasan, Alagaan,” aimed to increase public awareness and to engage the youth sector in the protection and conservation of the region’s protected areas, particularly the Roosevelt Protected Landscape in Dinalupihan town.

Kyel Iya May Dela Paz of San Juan de Letran - Bataan stood as the grand winner, while Adrian Bacaro and Arjohn Sebastian of Balsik National High School won second and third, respectively.

Winners took home cash prizes, while other schools received certificates of participation. (-30-)
