Officials of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here conferred in the first New Year’s Call led by Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo.

The activity aimed to celebrate the remarkable milestones the DENR achieved in the past year, and likewise envisioned the endeavors the organization would embark on to thrive both in environmental opportunities and challenges.

The executive director noted that the New Year’s Call served as a platform to relay the marching orders of Environment Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga to field offices to align their activities accordingly with the Department’s priority programs.

The New Year’s Call was then followed by the DENR Region 3 1st Quarter Management Conference, where officials delved much deeper into their accomplishments and strategies to better public service delivery and protection of the region’s environment and natural resources. (-30-)
