LAND MANAGEMENT SERVICE

As the sole government agency that is task to undertake the surveys, disposition and management of lands of the public domain the Lands Management Services or LMS is also involve in the establishment and densification of reference control points thru PRS 92. This is embodied under Executive Order Nos. 45, 280 and 321, wherein the Philippine Reference System of 1992 (PRS 92) has been adopted as the standard reference system for all surveys and mapping in the Philippines

Included under its statutory functions are the following : records management, public lands surveys, cadastral surveys, foreshore inventory, and other public lands surveys including inventory of reservation, patrimonial properties, school and housing sites, relocation etc., that are subject for disposition and registration purposes.
