DENR CELEBRATES 35TH ANNIVERSARY WITH THANKSGIVING MASS. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here held a Thanksgiving Mass for its 35th anniversary celebration.

 

This year’s celebration is themed, “Pistang Pamilyang DENR para sa Tuloy-tuloy na Pagkakaisa at Tagumpay.”

 

This highlights the triumph, hope, and strong camaraderie of its officials and employees in the fulfillment of the agency’s duties and responsibilities during these complex and uncertain times.

 

The DENR was reorganized on June 10, 1987, by virtue of Executive Order No. 192. It is the primary agency of the government responsible for the conservation, management, development, and proper use of the country’s environment and natural resources. (-30-)
