DENR CONFERS RECOGNITION TO REGIONAL, FIELD OFFICIALS. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here conferred recognition to its regional and field officials during the “Gawad Parangal sa Pangangalaga ng Kalikasan” awarding ceremony.

The event aimed to recognize efforts of personnel, who have been in the frontline of implementing ENR programs that uphold environmental conservation and stewardship.

In his message, DENR Regional Executive Director Paquito Moreno, Jr. thanked provincial and community environment and natural resources officers, including division chiefs from its bureaus and regional and field offices, for their hardwork and commitment to bring the office’s thrusts and mandates into a realization.

“You all embody the characteristics of a lingkod-bayani in your field. This recognition is just a small token of appreciation for your efforts and sacrifices, knowing that you do your work out of your desire to truly serve the people,” Moreno said.

Among the awardees were DENR provincial chiefs; community environment and natural resources officers; chiefs of management and technical services divisions both in the regional and field offices; and directors and division chiefs of the Environmental Management Bureau and Mines and Geosciences Bureau.

The awarding ceremony was part of the 35th anniversary celebration of the DENR, with theme “Pistang Pamilyang DENR para sa Tuloy-tuloy na Pagkakaisa at Tagumpay.” (-30-)
