BIDA ANG LAGING HANDA. In support of the annual observance of Fire Prevention Month, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here organized a drill and a forum on fire safety facilitated by officers of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

BFP taught employees ways to orderly evacuate the office during a fire incident, and likewise discussed steps to properly operate fire extinguishers.

March is declared as Fire Prevention Month by virtue of Proclamation No. 115-A and Proclamation No. 360 in 1986. This year's theme, "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa!" emphasizes the importance of public awareness in preventing fire and ensuring the safety of the community. (-30-)
