Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu plants yet another tree seedling, this time a narra, to rise with the towering mahogany trees (background) which he planted 44 years ago. The trees now line the major road of Camp Leandro Fullon in SanJose, Antique where he was stationed  in the 70s as a junior officer with the rank of  1st Lieutenant   in the Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army.  Cimatu’s stop-over at the camp site coincided with his visit to DENR-Region 6 office  last May 16, marking the first leg of his official  tour of duty as DENR chief. Also in photo is Environmental Management Bureau-Region VI Director Ruel de los Reyes and DENR-Region VI Director Jim Sampulna (1st & 2nd from left, respectively), with DENR Chief of Staff Mario Chan (right) ###
